My background spans social, community and work psychology. I pay attention to what a person is experiencing alongside the relationships, demands and opportunities that shape their life.
Italy and the UK
I lived in the UK for many years and have worked across Italy and the UK. This experience informs my interest in adaptation, identity and belonging when people move between places and cultures.
Research, teaching and community work
My doctoral research at the University of Cambridge Institute of Criminology concerns wellbeing, self-empowerment and Human Flourishing in prison and complex institutional settings. My experience also includes research, evaluation, university teaching, training and work with groups and communities.
